Hello Sporty Amit
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Forums.

(A).
I would also suggest you to Perform SFC scan:
Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file.
To do this, follow these steps:
1.
Open an elevated command prompt.
To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password,
or click Allow.

2.
Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

(B).
Try Creating and checking the restore point in clean boot state.

(1).
Steps to perform clean boot: To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Clean boot will stop any interference with other third party software on the computer.
1.
Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER to start the System Configuration Utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
2.
On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
3.
Under Selective Startup, click to clear the Load Startup Items check box.
4.
Click the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
5.
Click OK.
6.
When you are prompted, click Restart.
7.
After the computer starts, check whether the problem is resolved.
If the issue is resolved check which third party is causing the problem, referring the link given below:
“How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7”
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

(2).
Steps to create a restore point:
1.
Open System by clicking the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.

2.
In the left pane, click System protection.
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3.
Click the System Protection tab, and then click Create.
4.
In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and then click Create.
Refer this link for more information:
“Create a restore point”

(3).
Now check the restore points in clean boot

 Hope it helps
Thanks and regards
