[Solved] Attaching files to Yahoo, Downloading SKYPE for vista.

Attaching files to Yahoo, Downloading SKYPE for vista.

Please can you help with two problems I have.
Firstly, I am unable to attach files to yahoo and hotmail emails, principally photo files (e.g.
JPEG).
The second problem I have is accessing the SKYPE website in order to download the SKYPE software.
I am running Windows Vista Home Basic, version 6.0 32 Bit, with Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 8 (downloaded from Microsoft website), with Live One Care, on a brand new Acer laptop.
I have Adobe flash player and JavaScript installed.
When attaching photo files, yahoo shows a window saying “attaching files – please wait while we attach the file(s) to your message” and does not progress form this window after many minutes, even when the bottom left hand corner shows “done”.
Switching
of Live One Care security makes no difference.
The same problem was encountered before service pack 2, internet explorer 8, flash player and JavaScript were installed.
I had a McAfee antivirus software 60 day trial, but deleted this before using.
With SKYPE, my computer simply won’t log on to the website, instead saying there is an HTTP 500 internal server error.
Please could you advise on this too?
I am based in the UK, using a T-mobile sim card broadband connection via dongle.
Many thanks for your help with these frustrating problems.

Hello, Rich
Uploading to SkyDrive was just to verify if it affects all uploads or not.
Have you been able to attach files and connect to Skype previously?
Try using another user account.
If you do not already have a second account, create one by going to Start, Control Panel, User Accounts and Family Safety, User Accounts and click Manage another account.
You may be prompted to continue.
Create another
account and then login using the new account to test if the problem persists or not.
If you have a wired connection available, try connecting using it to test if the wireless is a factor or not.
We look forward to hearing back from you.
