MTS to AVI Converter: [Solution] An annoying error message..

An annoying error message..

This never used to happen with Vista, but I'm getting this error message..
I use programs called GuitarPro5, and Powertab Editor for guitar files..
and I also use Fire Fox as a web browser..
Whenever I'd download a file for one of those programs, it would
always open up the program and file right away..
but now I get either

"C:\Users\JOHN-P~1\AppData\Local\Temp\everything_fades_to_gray-13.gp5 could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist.
Change the association in your preferences."

OR

"C:\Users\JOHN-P~1\AppData\Local\Temp\everything_fades_to_gray.gp5 could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location."

I've gone inside and out with these folders trying to make sense of the problem but I've got nothing...
anyone able to help??

The error message you are seeing is from your Firefox browser.
I found the following article on Firefox forum that may help you.

If that does not help with your issue, you will need to contact Mozilla for assistance since it is not an Operating System error message.

Check memory problems
