BSOD error - BC code 124

I've been having strange issue with my computer...
at first it kept hitching for a few seconds at a time, and then it worked again, although my cursor kept lagging and moving at different rates.
A reboot fixed this issue.

More recently, the past few weeks or so, the PC keeps suddenly turning off, no warning, no nothing, no hitching or cursor errors before it or anything else.
It reboots, in doing so it says Windows shut down strangely, I tell it to go back in normally.
Once
I have booted up it informs me that there has been a bluescreen.
(I never had an actual BSOD occur though)

As these things have occurred I have looked into them to try to determine what is wrong - but so far I have come up with nothing.
The bluescreen code provided one I boot back up does not tell me anything that I can use - or it probably does but I certainly
can't understand it.

I should add that there have been alot of changes to my PC recently: I got a new motherboard in June, followed by a move to a new large case about 2 months ago.
Both those things went FINE as far as I know.
The computer worked after them and the issues didn't
crop up just after their occurance.
After the move to the new case I waited a while before I began to use a new SSD I had purchased.
It's been not long after using this that the problems have began.
I don't know that it is the cause of the problems but it
is one piece of hardware that is new.

I'm generally at a loss as to what the problem is, and all I had to go on was the Windows message it gave.
I've attached a screenshot of the message I receive after the so called "BSOD", and a copy of the minidump file that is suggested on the Windows error.
The temporary file it also suggests is no longer there so I could not provide that.

To me it was Nvidia drivers ! 400 and 500 series have this problem on ANY driver after 314.22

1. Back-up the Registry of your operating system.
2. Find the Registry Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\OSUpgrade]
3. Note: this Registry Key should already exist, if it does not exist, create it.
4. Create a brand new DWORD Value that is named AllowOsUpdate
5. Set the Value to 0x00000001.
6. Close and reopen your Control Panel.
7. Restart the Microsoft Windows.
