Calculating Business Days & Error

I am having a problem with calculating 3 business days and the return.
The following calculates 3 days which includes the weekends.
The problem is that I want to calculate 3 business days (target cell E5), and include holidays from a date (A1), but if there
is nothing in A1 the return is a date in 1900.
I'd rather have a blank cell.
Can someone help?

=DATE(YEAR(E5),MONTH(E5),DAY(E5)+3)

Try it like this...
=WORKDAY(E5,3,A1:A10)
Where A1:A10 are holiday dates to be excluded from the calculation.
Format as Date.
