c:does not exist? will not boot or repair?

my Asus laptop (nv50) may have had a virus
upon starting it fails and goes to recovery, if i atempt to start normally then the blue screen flashes and goes back to start recovery
Start up repair fails, error code 0x1f after trying to run skndsk
systen restore fails as it appears there is no OS
system image recoveru also fails, again no disk drive
mem diagnostic runs and is ok
CMD runs, no C: drive and not sure what else I can do from here
 
can not install a fresh windows 7 ...
no drive detected
x drive is there (is this a partition of the hard drive?) labeled boot
in bios, the hard drive is there
 
any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Machine Throttling

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".

• Reboot your computer.
