BOOTMGR Missing - when restarting w/o DVD

I've just formatted my HD and reinstalled a brand new Vista Premium (32bit) on my computer.

Everything was working fine, up until I decided to restart my computer without the Vista DVD - it gave me the error msg - BOOTMGR MISSING...
Tried restarting - didn't help.

I've put back the vista DVD and ran Repair mode first - didn't find any problems.
Then ran Command Prompt with "bootrec /fixboot" command - it said everything's fine...
but, yet again, when I tried to restart the computer without the DVD = it didn't work.
When
I pop in the Vista DVD and choose NOT to boot from CD/DVD - computer restarts just fine.
What should I do? Keep that DVD in all the time when I restart my comp?

My comp: Desktop HP Presario w/ Intel Pentium CPU 2.80GHz, 2550 MB RAM and at least 100g of available space on it.

Open Action Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status.
